Biomimicry:
Innovation inspired by nature

There are three levels of biomimicry: mimicking natural form, mimicking natural processes and mimicking natural ecosystems.

If we can do biomimicry on all these levels we’ll begin to do what all well-adapted organisms have learned to do, which is creating conditions conducive to life.

Biomimicry is the science that extracts nature’s design principles and uses them to solve challenges. We call it the 'conscious emulation of nature's genius'. We're not copying nature, but extracting principles and applying them.
